Week #11- Welcome Back from Fall Break
Good Morning Roadrunners and Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful fall break, filled with fun and rest!! Mine was very restful and I am ready to conquer the next quarter, I know it is going to be great!!
This week is not only a short week but we have a lot going on–this week is homecoming week!! EXCITING!! We are dancing through the decades and encouraging kiddos to dress up!! The class with the most participants at the end of the week will win a prize. So let’s dress up!!
Wednesday- 80s Rock vs. Pop
Thursday- 90s boy/girl groups vs. hip hop
Friday- Super Spirit
Reminder: Even though we are encouraging students to dress up please remember the school dress code policy, outfits still need to be school appropriate.
Friday we will have prep rallies and our homecoming game, please consider coming out and supporting our football team and cheer team. We will also have amazing concessions provided by Mr. Richardson. Support the teams, support the school, take a night off from making dinner= win-win!!
In the classroom, we will be working on getting back into the swing of things. Visiting our cultural fair projects, catching up, and finishing some leftover activities we started before break. I plan on it being an easy but successful week.
Grades will be updated this week, I have a ton of stuff to grade that was turned in before break. Please give me the gift of time to get these things graded, as I was sick over break.
As always, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, please feel free to reach out to me via phone or email. I look forward to seeing everyone and welcoming all our online students to our wonderful classroom!!
Have a great week,
