Week #7 Update
Good Morning Roadrunners & Parents,
I hope this email finds you and your family, healthy, happy, and rested. I hope everyone has a nice three day weekend. I cannot believe we are entering week #7 of the 2020-2021 school year. They say, “time flies when you are having fun” ain’t that the truth?
This week we are going to veer from our textbook a bit and try a project–
* US Government will be creating a campaign team and a campaign
* US History will be building a colony from the ground up
* AP Government and History will be taking their first AP Practice exam and starting Unit 2 on AP Classroom.
Grades will be updated today. As always if your student has late/missing assignments please encourage them to get them turned in. I am lenient with the late policy and as long as students turn in quality work it is graded accordingly. HOWEVER, I am not longer accepting work for week 1 & 2 as we are past the 4 week deadline, week 3 is the first week students can turn late work in for.
8th Grade Girls we are still looking for girls to join our jr. high cheer squad.
IF you are able to we could use some hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes.
What is Mrs. Castillo up to?
My family and I are buying a house and this weekend we were able to go to the location and obtain scrap lumber to make some cool projects that will be in our new home. It will be super cool to have items in our house made from the same materials as our house.
As ALWAYS, if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or concerns please feel free to reach out to me. Also, if you see errors in the grade book, please email me.
Have a great week Roadrunners,
<3 Mrs. Castillo
